How do credits work?

One quick scan costs 1 credit and gives you metadata plus an AI summary. A deep scan with full transcript costs around 10 credits. Deep scans unlock searchable, timestamped transcripts and a richer read of the video.

Do credits expire?

No. Top-up packs never expire while your account is active. We do not quietly convert them into a subscription.

What's the difference between FREE and Credits?

FREE gives you 10 scans per day across TikTok and YouTube short-form, with metadata-only AI summaries. Credits unlock deep scans, full transcripts, and bulk import.

Can I downgrade to Free at any time?

Yes. Head to Account, then Plan, and click Downgrade. Your existing credits stay in your balance. You just lose the deep-scan and bulk-import unlock until you top up again.

What happens to my hoard if my credits run out?

Your videos stay. You drop to Free-tier access (the daily fast-scan cap returns). Credits never expire though, so if you have any balance remaining you can keep scanning. Top up at any time to keep deep-scanning.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Account, then Plan, then Manage subscription. Stripe handles the cancellation and any prorated refunds.

Why is my video not scanning?

The most common reasons: the URL was pasted incorrectly (use the full link), the video is private or age-restricted, or you have hit the daily cap on the FREE tier. Open the scan page and try again.

Can I scan Instagram on FREE?

Not on the Free tier. Instagram Reels are available on the Credits plan (10 credits per scan, plus 5 for a transcript).

Does scanning use credits even if it fails?

No. Credits are only deducted on a successful scan. A failure refunds automatically.

What do the emojis on a video card mean?

🧠 means this video had a deep scan, so the detailed analysis tab is unlocked. 📝 means a transcript is available. 📷 means it is a TikTok photo carousel post (no audio or transcript, just images and an AI summary of what they show).

How long are my videos kept?

FREE tier: 90 days of inactivity. Credits plan: 1 year of inactivity. Active accounts retain everything indefinitely.

How many videos can I store?

No hard cap. Storage scales with the platform.

Do you train AI on my videos?

Accepted Answer

No. Your hoard is yours. We send video metadata to a third-party AI provider for summarization, but the API contract prohibits training on user data.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Account, then Danger Zone. We delete your videos, scan history, and credit balance. Stripe retains payment records per their compliance window.
